Passage: Philemon 1

Heart of the message: In Paul’s plea to Philemon to welcome back his wayward slave Onesimus who had become a Christian, we are able to see the depth of the new fellowship (koinonia) that we now have because of our faith in Jesus Christ.  This revolutionizes and redefines how we relate (more specifically our view, attitude and actions) to one another, even in one of the most seemingly distant of relationships as a master and slave.

Image Concept: The image idea is two links of a chain turned to form a heart – to show that the master/slave relationship is redefined, and we are now bound to one another in love.
